Study Guide Math Term I
·From a short reading, answer word problems related to information in the reading
·Conversion of cm to ft (1 ft = 30.48 cm) remember to divide the total given in cm by 30.48
·Adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing decimals
3.567 + 0.2 =
4 – 0.34 =
2.31 x 7.6 =
8.94 ÷ 0.22 =
·Calculating area of irregular shapes and explain steps using formulas for area of a circle, square, triangle, and rectangle (This video will help you, but when you see BREADTH it means LENGTH http://youtu.be/by9-_95Zn08 )
·Create a multiple step word problem with decimals
·Verify if an answer is correct or incorrect with decimals and explain (3.4 – 0.167 = 2.233)
·Describe using one strategy to solve a word problem
